According to babycenter.com, our baby, who is now 11 weeks, is the size of a fig. I like fig newtons, but I don't think I've ever seen a real fig at the grocery store. Luckily, by next week our baby will be the size of a lime, which is a little easier to imagine the size of.
If you didn't know I was pregnant, I'm sure you couldn't tell, but as of last week, I can't button most of my pants. I bought a little belly band thing to cover the tops of my pants and allow me to go unbuttoned discreetly. I am holding out on any actual maternity pants as long as I can...hopefully at least a few more weeks. My little "bump" seems to look big after I eat a big meal only to shrink back the next day...ha ha! I will probably start taking belly pictures each week from now on, but won't post anything on here til there's more to really see. Off to enjoy some pizza and make the belly grow! :)
