Having a 2.5 half year old keeps me pretty busy and makes blogging on a regular basis a little challenging. For this reason, I've blogged very little about this pregnancy compared to my pregnancy with Olivia. I feel guilty about this but I hope our new little girl will understand I love her just as much even if I didn't write down every detail about my pregnancy with her. :)
Here are two of the best ultrasound pictures out of the four we got. Unfortunately, I don't feel like the 20 week ultrasound pictures this time around came out as good as they did last time. Here's Olivia's ultrasound pics. In the picture above, you can see a profile of her head and chest. In the picture below, you can see her little butt, apparently her "girl parts," and one of her legs.
We (meaning Yusaku) have reassembled the crib and moved it into the baby's room, along with the changing table/dresser, rocker, bookshelf, and Olivia's pink rug. That's about as much as that room can hold. Olivia's room got a "Big Girl" makeover. We painted her walls lavender and moved the white twin daybed into her room. She got new sheets, a new comforter, a new rug, and some new white curtains. What a lucky girl!
Next on the to-do list: touch up the paint in the baby's room/finish it and decide on a name for this baby. I have my next check-up coming up on May 6, a few days before leave for a quick vacation down to Florida. Between now and then, I have to do my glucose screening which means I have to drink nasty orange sugar water and go to a lab and have my blood drawn. Hoping I do a better job this time instead of just barely passing. :)
