Olivia's first day of kindergarten

How is it possible that Olivia is old enough to start kindergarten?!?! I may not have been ready to "let go" quite yet, but she was certainly ready (and smart enough) to embark on this big adventure. The only person who shed tears that day was me. I was excited for her but sad at what this means - this is the beginning of the big kid years. From now on, she will go to school all day every day until she leaves for college!!! The fact that she is excited about it and loving it is making it easier for me to adjust to this big, new milestone!

I think it's safe to say that they may have
missed each other a little bit ;)

Natalie's 2nd Birthday Party!

This sweet spunky girl is two! She is smart, adorable, and very funny! We had a blast celebrating her with family and friends this weekend.

First Dayton Dragon's Game

One of the items on my summer bucket list was to take the kids to a Dragon's game and luckily, we were able to make it happen. It was their first baseball game and despite the extreme heat, we all had a good time. The kids got to run the bases (with Yusaku) at the end of the game.
