North Carolina: Part 3

Pictures of the beach, ANOTHER trip to Sear's landing (this time with Suzette, Graham, and their boys), fireworks over the intracoastal, and pictures of a pretty rest stop on the way home.

Topsail is a magical place and we had a wonderful time as always, even if Pop Pop being sick made it bittersweet.

North Carolina: Part 2

More pictures from our trip: dinner at our favorite place, kayaking with the family on the intracoastal (which was beautiful and went surprisingly well!), the kids first time playing miniature golf, and lots of beach time.

Not pictured: daily visits to see Pop Pop in the rehab center. Even though he wasn't able to communicate with us as we would like, we were so glad to be able to see him and talk to him.

North Carolina: Part 1

The first few pictures are from our drive down. We like to make a pit stop in Charleston, WV a few hours into our drive. We love this cute independent bookstore called Taylor Books and the ice cream shop across the street called Ellen's Homemade Ice Cream.

We made it as far as Winston-Salem Friday night and had some delicious burgers for dinner with my parents.

Here are some of the beach pictures. I will post more in the next post. I'm happy to report that we were not attacked by sharks despite all the recent shark attacks in the news surrounding our trip. :)
