June Phone Pics

I think the theme for June was friends! We had a playdate at Wegerzyn Gardens with the Merrills before they left for Michigan for the Summer, a cookout and visit with the Mintons, berry picking with Meghan and Ian, dinner with the Gentrys, and a trip to Columbus to see the Harms' Family with lots of other fun in between. We also celebrated Father's Day and headed to North Carolina at the end of the month! June was pretty awesome!

Father's Day

Father's Day was spent taking a nice walk on a beautiful morning, going to Breakfast with the Beatles with my parents, a trip to the pool, and both sets of our parents over for a cookout (with the beautiful cheesecake you see below for dessert)! It was a great day! Thankful for all the dads in our lives! We are lucky!

Mother's Day

Since my mom was going to be in Chicago over Mother's Day, we celebrated a few days early by going out for a delicious dinner at Olive (which I have been wanting to try) and topping it off with a yummy dessert at Lily's Bistro.

On the morning of Mother's Day, we got up bright and early and headed out to Blueberry Cafe in Bellbrook (another place I've been wanting to try!) for breakfast. It was very yummy!

Yusaku took the girls to DLM to decorate cakes for me. Below are the beautiful finished products!

We finished up the day by having a lovely dinner at Yusaku's parents' house. As it turned out, my parents got back from Chicago just in time to join us for dinner. All in all - a very nice day!
