Busy Spring

This past month has kept us quite busy. Among other things, Olivia had her first soccer game, first school program, and first dance recital! Natalie turned 8 months, started walking (quite speedily) while pushing a walker and climbing the stairs, and had some baby play dates.

Olivia and her friend Emery. She is only older than him by 3 days.

she got a little too touchy-feely and made her friend cry ;(

Since she wouldn't let me take a posed picture of her afterward, this is the best I could get.

Easter

We had a nice Easter weekend with beautiful weather. We dyed Easter eggs on Saturday, the Easter Bunny visited us, and the girls woke up to baskets full of goodies and eggs hidden around the house on Sunday morning.

Olivia enjoyed "hunting" for them around the house. The girls looked adorable in matching Easter dresses. After Easter Mass, we headed back to our house for lunch (egg salad sandwiches) with my parents and then enjoyed some down time before heading over to my parents' house for Easter dinner.

The Kawai's joined us for dinner and afterward, we hid plastic eggs (over and over and over again) around my parents' yard, while Olivia hunted for them. It was yet another occasion for us to be thankful for having both families in town and being able to celebrate the holidays altogether.
