The Zoo

A few weeks ago, we headed down to Cincinnati for my last (6 weeks post-partum) visit with my doula, Lauren. Afterward, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and hit up the zoo...one of our favorite places. Here are some pictures from our visit.

Brumbaugh Fruit Farm

A few weekends ago, we decided to make the somewhat lengthy drive up to Arcanum to check out Brumbaugh Fruit Farm. It was a pretty neat place and a huge property. It has an apple orchard, pumpkins to pick, hayrides, and tons of rides/activities/things for kids to do. We even got to watch apple cider making demonstrations and ate some delicious goodies from the bakery. Here are some pictures from our excursion.

Olivia's 3rd Birthday (and my 30th)

Olivia and I had great birthdays. Olivia got some fun new stuff and had a Doc McStuffins themed birthday party. Luckily for me, we have a lot of mutual friends. So at her birthday party, I got to hang out with my friends too. Win-win! 

On Olivia's actual birthday, she celebrated at preschool with some cupcakes with her classmates. I got to be there for the little "party" and it was really fun to meet all of her cute little classmates. Afterwards, we picked Yusaku up at home and had a birthday lunch at City Barbeque.  That night, we had dinner, cake, and presents at our house with my parents.

On my actual birthday, Yusaku and I went out for dinner and had some cake and presents with my parents when we got back.
